Pertemps are looking for an experienced Warehouse manager to join our client's busy air freight warehouse in Ashford.
What You'll Do as a Warehouse Manager:
- Manage a team of Warehouse Operatives in a fast-paced environment.
- Ensure strict adherence to industry regulations and company procedures.
- Handle a variety of cargo, including temperature-sensitive shipments.
- Liaise with airlines, hauliers, and our Fresh Operations team to ensure smooth operations.
To be succsessfull in this Warehouse Manager role, you must posess the following:
- Experience in freight forwarding and warehouse management.
- Ability to work in a cold chain environment (+2 Deg. C).
- Proficiency in using electronic stock management systems and Microsoft package.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities.
Shift Details:
- Permanent night shift (19.00-07.00) on a 4-on-4-off rolling shift pattern.
Please note that this is a regulated site and a full 5-year checkable history is required.
Training will be provided for all duties.
Forklift licenses and IATA DGR training would be advantageous.
