Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and meticulous School Exam Officer to manage all aspects of the examination process within our school. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in exam coordination, data management, and compliance with educational policies and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate and manage the administration of all internal and external examinations.

Ensure compliance with examination regulations and school policies.

Liaise with examination boards, invigilators, and teaching staff to facilitate smooth examination processes.

Manage the examination timetable and ensure all necessary resources are available.

Oversee data entry and management of exam-related information, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.

Ensure all examination activities comply with GDPR and other relevant data protection regulations.

Monitor and report on examination results and trends to the Head Teacher and SLT.

Develop and implement efficient examination procedures and practices.

Address and resolve any issues or queries related to examinations.

Use own initiative to continuously improve the exam administration process.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a School Exam Officer or in a similar role within an educational setting.

In-depth knowledge of examination processes and regulations.

Strong understanding of GDPR and data protection principles.

Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and management.

Ability to work independently and use own initiative.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency in using relevant software and databases.
