The Role
The Direct Sales team function aims to increase new business, identify external opportunities and maximise in-house cross-selling. The function consists of three teams including Lead Generation, Deal Closing & Renewals.
The purpose of the Lead Generator is to provide opportunities, create appointments and collect information from new and existing CRM data for the Deal Closing function.
The Responsibilities
- Achieve productivity and sales budget KPIs set out by the Company.
- Develop an understanding of customer requirements to offer a client-focused service.
- Adhere to FCA Conduct rules and Core Responsibilities relating to the Sales function and the role.
- Perform your role with a positive, constructive and professional attitude within a highly fast-paced team working environment.
- Ensure all compliance regulations and legislation are adhered to where relevant.
- Interact professionally with the Head of, Team Managers, and the various support teams.
- Any other request deemed reasonable from your line manager.
The Requirements
- Ability to work independently and proactively.
- A high degree of self-motivation and desire to drive success.
- Demonstrate a commitment to achieve the highest standards.
- Ability to negotiate effectively and influence decisions
- Previous experience within a high-performing Sales environment, a minimum of 12-24 months required.
- Previous experience in a Financial Services environment would be advantageous e.g. insurance, lending, business-to-business.
- Computer literacy.
