Our client specialise in providing a huge range of new and also recycled office and educational furniture along with interior blinds and building services.
We are looking for a experienced and motivated Business Development Manager to join our clients team to cover the Northern M25 territory across to the M40 Oxford boundary.
This person will be responsible for bringing on new business along with building and maintaining client relationships, along with driving revenue growth.
We are looking for someone with a strong background in sales, with a proven track record of success within the office furniture sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Bring on and pursue new business opportunities through market research, networking and prosecuting across different sectors
- Year 1 target split across furniture and fit out sale would be £400k
- Develop and maintain relationships with key clients whilst understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations to prospective larger clients
- Negotiate contracts and close deals to meet or exceed the sales target
- Keep on top of industry trends and competitors to recognise growth areas
- Use their CRM system to track leads, opportunities and customer interactions
Requirements:
- Proven track record in sales and business development within the furniture industry
- Strong communication skills
- Negotiation and closing skills
- Results-orientated mindset with a mindset of success
- Located close to the region of the role
- Attend the office in Egham one day per week
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
