Job Title: Water Treatment Service Chemist
Location: Harlow, Essex
Salary/Benefits: £26k - £45k + Training & Benefits
We are recruiting for an experienced Water Treatment Service Chemist for our Client, who is a growing and independently-owned outfit. Access to the M25 would be beneficial to candidates, as contracts span across the South East of England. Successful candidates will need strong communication abilities and will need represent the company in a professional light. Experience / Qualifications:
- Must hold experience working as a Water Treatment Service Chemist for a well-regarded outfit
- Hands-on ability to use a test kit on-site
- Holding a Bsc or degree relating to Science / Chemistry would be beneficial to applications
- Excellent industry technical understanding, such as ACOP L8 and HSG guidelines
- Strong written and verbal communication ability
- Comfortable liaising directly with Clients, answering enquiries, providing technical advice and organising appointments
The Role:
- Undertaking Chemical Analysis on Cooling Towers, Steam Boilers and Closed Systems
- Routine monitoring tasks at Client sites, to ensure compliance
- Maintaining and building relationships with new and existing Clients, providing ongoing technical support
- Writing thorough technical reports
- Ensuring to work in accordance with ACOP L8, HSG & HSE guidelines
- Providing a high level of service to all company Client accounts
