Head of Global Network Development - Automotive Brand - UK / Europe Based

With its rapid growth trajectory and dynamic nature, the Head of Global Network Development will lead their global strategy, managing their network development processes and systems to develop partnerships with the best globally in automotive luxury retail, driving evolution, based on the company's business vision & commercial strategy, in line with their exciting product portfolio and defined brand guidelines.

You will work closely with Product, Pricing, Brand, Financial Services and Aftersales to deliver an outstanding Global network.

What you'll do

  • Bring a thorough understanding of the Automotive Sector and the different go to market formats including but not isolated to D2C (Direct to Consumer), Agency and Indirect (franchised & importer)
  • Demonstrable knowledge across many facets of Automotive financial planning and control: P&L, Balance Sheet, Revenue generation and cost control.
  • In line with their Go To Market Strategy for each market, the ability to research and prospect candidates and infrastructure requirements that meet agreed criteria: ie. Operational, Infrastructure and Financial
  • Prepare formal recommendations for board approval at Regional, Market and Site levels.
  • Project Manage deployment of Go To Market Strategy in each market, ensuring a timely and financially controlled position in line with Business plan.
  • Responsible for the communication to the retail network in initial investment, start of sales, process optimisation and delivery quality activities
  • Full involvement in the development and selection of facilities in line with business plan and volume aspirations, Staff Recruitment, Training delivery and preparation of Go Live.
  • Working with legal counsel for the preparation and delivery of relevant legal documentation in line with market legislation requirements.
  • Work closely with the Regional Directors and Aftersales teams, collaborating alongside the Directors of Sales & Fleet Operations and Aftersales in meeting customer satisfaction, customer retention, retail network profitability and overall sales targets.
  • Represent the voice of the retail network across the business, working cross-functionally to ensure retail network standards are maintained to a top standard while balancing the ability of retail network partners to be profitable and deliver a great customer experience.
  • Meeting consistent representation CI and trading standards regardless of them being our own sites/markets or those being run indirectly.
  • Develop monthly commercial performance reporting e.g. KPIs - NPS, profitability, transaction pricing and personnel churn - identify areas of need and opportunity.
  • Build, Lead and coach a world class team across a number of territories regionally, who share and exude the client's vision.
  • Responsible for the Global Network Development budget.

Requirements

  • Extensive senior Global network leadership experience in automotive with an OEM
  • Demonstrable experience in retail PoS development, globally both D2C and franchised exposure
  • Business case development and 'what if' analysis experience
  • Ability to work in a scale up organisation with a positive, agile & solution-driven head set
  • Strong commercial acumen with tuned Leadership skills
  • Results-oriented with strong decision-making skills and the ability to prioritize multiple objectives while meeting aggressive deadlines and financial targets
  • Values that reflect their brand values, with ability to inspire the team
  • Ability to work in the abstract, distill and create effective strategies
  • Have a demonstrable 'customer first' mindset
  • Business Degree Educated preferred.
