Teach Plus are currently recruiting experienced SEN Teachers to join this lovely SEN school. They provide a holistic approach to education based on the principles of positive emotions, engagement, relationships, meaning, achievement and health. In October 2022 they had amazing feedback from Ofsted, which indicates staff tailor learning and resources to meet pupils' individual needs and interests. This helps pupils to succeed in achieving their personalised goals. Staff are given more opportunities to excel with their careers.
For this role you will be an SEN Teacher, who can provide positive and stimulating learning experiences for our students, whilst working in partnership with families and the school community. The ideal candidate will be a good team player with organisation skills and a highly structured approach that supports their ability to teach a range of subjects to our students.
As a SEN Teacher you will be required to:
- Plan and deliver well structured lessons, in line with the UK National Curriculum
- Adapt lessons to meet the needs of all individual children
- Maintain consistent relationships with parents surrounding their academic progression
- Attend meetings and INSET days to further support the internal development of the school
The ideal candidate for an SEN Teacher role will have:
- Excellent communication and organisational skills with a practical approach to engaging students.
- Have experience of working with children/young people with special educational needs and learning disabilities who may be on the autistic spectrum.
- QTS
- Enhanced DBS on the update service
- Right to work within the UK
- Overseas criminal clearance
