Are you looking for a new role? Our clients are a leader in their industry, in a busy period of growth meaning they are looking for a Production Operative to join their growing business!
Production Operative Roles and Responsibilities:
- Operating a selection of manual and CNC based machinery
- Understanding how to read drawings, orders and following verbal instructions, being available to train others in this area
- Identifying and locating different steel products using appropriate measuring equipment based on customer specifications
- Collating orders, including banding, palletising, bagging and preparing them for loading
- Loading and offloading of plate and parts from the plasma and laser machines
- Reporting any accidents, incidents and machine breakdowns to the line manager
- Liaising with the HS&E Department to ensure such risks are assessed and procedures amended as necessary
- Following the requirements of the Company Quality Management Systems, Company Environmental Management System, policies and procedures
Production Operative Ideal Candidate:
- Previous experience as a Production Operative
- Ability to read and work from technical drawings
- Forklift, Combi Lift and Crane experience
- Interest in environmental care
