Description
The Key Responsibilities of the Head of Supply planning will be;
- Overseeing the Procurement & Supply Chain department, ensuring optimal efficiency and productivity
- Formulating and implementing procurement and supply chain strategies to enhance business performance
- Managing relationships with vendors and suppliers
- Ensuring supply chain compliance with industry regulations and standards
- Leading and mentoring a team of procurement and supply chain professionals
- Working closely with other department heads to align supply chain processes with business objectives
- Overseeing the management of inventory to meet demand requirements
- Assessing supply chain risks and developing contingency plans
Profile
A successful Head of Supply planning should have:
- A strong educational background in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- Prior experience in a leadership role within the procurement and supply chain department
- Strong knowledge of supply chain processes and strategies
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Strong negotiation skills and a keen understanding of vendor management
- Proficiency in supply chain software and tools
- Develop and lead a Team of 20 Supply planners and 2 Team leader
- Ability to inspire lead a diverse team in a fast moving environment
- Challenge the status quo and not afraid to make changes.
Job Offer
The Head of Supply planning will receive;
- An attractive salary range of £65,000 to £85,000 per annum
