Trainee Production Engineer
Location: Dartford
Salary: GBP25,000 - GBP27,000 per year.
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8am - 4.30pm.

Bridge Recruitment is helping one of our well-established clients recruit for a Trainee Production Engineer to joint heir ever expanding team. The main requirement of the role is to provide day to day support to the Electronic and Metalwork manufacturing departments.
Training is provided for all areas of manufacturing - this may be onsite or external.
Having an interest in manufacturing is preferred!
Responsibilities of the Trainee Production Engineer:
- Optimising and improving the production processes for quality and productivity.
- Problem solving as necessary including liaising with equipment suppliers.
- Training employees in Production areas, as necessary.
- Ensuring all machines are routinely serviced and maintained.
- Carrying out machine programming, producing production operating procedures, maintaining operators training records and providing productivity reports.
- Ensuring all applicable procedures and regulations for health and safety are complied with.
- The successful person will be expected to gain knowledge on all the production processes and procedures and to train other members of staff as needs are identified.
- The Departments and Processes included, but not limited to, are: -
o Wave soldering, Selective Soldering and Control Panel Assembly
o Metal Fabrication, Powder Coating and Print Shop.
