Payroll Director

This is a fantastic brand new role for a driven and ambitious Payroll Director who wants true autonomy and to own the processes from scratch. This Central London based Accountancy Practice are not messing about, growing their client base through organic referral, they are now keen to bring their portfolio of clients in house.

A blank canvass, you will be extremely client driven working with some high profile sports, music and media clients working on multi payroll with headcount from 2 - 50 and a handful of mid size firms.

Managing end to end payroll with one direct report, you will ideally have bureau or practice experience but industry background will be considered if you have done multiple payrolls.

Essential experience includes:

  • CIPP qualified or equivalent, or working at that level
  • Previous experience in delivering fully managed UK payroll services
  • Experience of running multiple payrolls to multiple deadlines throughout the month, start to finish, including RTI submissions.
  • Knowledge of pension schemes including the auto enrolment process and pension submissions to various provider platforms
  • Proficiency in payroll software and MS Office applications, especially Excel.
  • Strong understanding of payroll regulations, tax laws, and compliance requirements.
