The Opportunity
A thriving company with continued growth plans, are seeking to appoint a Finance Assistant to their team. There's plenty going on in this what seems ever growing company, a real post covid pivot success story.
The Role
You'll be working in a team of 3, bridging a gap between junior apprentice and Finance Manager, reporting to and working closely with the Finance Manager whilst being an escalation point for the day to day. Duties will encompass being hands on in Purchase Ledger & Reconciliation (a good chunk of the role) mainly with some Receivables, Cashbook and overall, all round bookkeeping / accounts transaction management support.
This is a thriving SME company, turning over currently £12m+ and so plenty of scope to undertake a broad range of accounting duties (along with adhoc non financial, typical of being in a SME business)
The Candidate
We're looking to draw interest from applicants who demonstrate a sound accounting knowledge. preferred is experience in all of the above with a good grounding in accounting fundamentals, and be adept with all aspects of Accounts Payable, Receivable & Reconciliation. As long as you meet this, are system savvy (Sage 200 also a big plus but not essential) with Excel (Pivot Table, Look Up level.
You'll also need to be confident, agile and adaptable, a true team player.
