Company Secretary Administrator

You will be working for a leading chartered accountancy, business advisory and financial planning firm based in the North West.
Your new role
An opportunity has arisen to join the Company Secretarial team as an Advisor.

  • Filing accounts at Companies House
  • Company formation and strike off
  • Appointment and removal of company officers
  • Preparing confirmation statements, PSC register, share certificates, dividend vouchers and other company secretarial documents and resolutions
  • Preparation of stock transfer forms and documentation for share re-organisations and re-designations
  • Other ad hoc administration tasks to support the company secretarial team

What you'll need to succeed
The role will suit someone with previous company secretarial experience or someone with more general company accounts knowledge who wants to specialise in company secretarial work and is keen to learn.

You will be required to have some sort of Accounting experience/to be familiar with the systems.
You must have some experience within a practice.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone to work as part of the company secretarial team providing excellent service to the firm's clients in accordance with the firm's values, procedures, prevailing legislation and good professional practice, so as to meet or exceed clients' expectations and needs.
What you'll get in return
This role is a fixed-term contract until September 2025.
The hours are part-time, negotiable between 14.5 and 16 hours per week, which can be over 2, 3 or 4 days.

This is a hybrid role. A minimum of 1 day a week will need to be spent working from the office with your team, ideally on a Monday.
