Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor

Our products serve the Pharmaceutical, Agrochemical, and Specialty Chemical industries, among others. Position Details:

We are seeking an experienced and qualified Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor to join our Mechanical Department. This role offers the chance to work within a highly skilled Mechanical Engineering team at a lower-tier COMAH facility. Reporting to the Mechanical Engineering Manager, the successful candidate will demonstrate effective communication with various departments to achieve daily goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise a mechanical maintenance team, overseeing both preventative and reactive maintenance in an industrial production environment.
  • Manage various types of mechanical equipment, including gearboxes, pumps, mechanical seals, and pipework.
  • Utilize Computerised Maintenance Management Systems and standard computer software.
  • Mentor and train staff as needed.
  • Interpret equipment drawings, manuals, and technical information to support maintenance tasks.
  • Adhere to company safe systems of work and permit to work systems.

Qualifications/Experience:

  • Educated to RQF level 3 (e.g., City & Guilds level 3) in a practical Mechanical Fitting/Engineering discipline.
  • Minimum of three years of supervisory experience in an industrial mechanical maintenance environment.
