We have a fantastic new vacancy for a Semi / Senior Accountant. The ideal candidate with be studying towards their ACA/ACCA qualification and/or AAT qualified with previous experience working within a UK practice environment.
Senior Accountant Key Responsibilities:
- Planning and delivery of accounts assignments, to include business support work such as management accounts and VAT returns.
- Calculating and advising on corporate and personal taxation.
- Be actively involved with the growth of the practice.
- Regular contact with clients in relation to their business needs and maintaining these relationships to identify further client service opportunities.
Key Skills required:
- Experience in preparation of year-end accounts for a range of clients across different sectors
- Exposure to cloud-based software such as Xero, Sage, and QuickBooks
- Familiarity in preparing both personal tax and corporation tax returns
- Good standards of written and verbal communication
- Great attention to detail
