My client is a UK Microsoft partner, a household brand and a leader in training and certifying their teams. Their applications team is growing and they're looking for a BI Developer to join. If you've got Power BI, ETL pipelines and data modelling knowledge and want to work on: greenfield projects, major cloud upgrades and constant improvements, this could be the role for you.
They get access to the latest in Microsoft tech and are looking for someone who feels like they could add value to their data systems which are used by thousands of internal employees and shops every day.
Their focus has always been on data driven decisions and their applications are used by thousands of staff across the company. You'll get a chance to work on their custom solutions that power a top 10 FMCG tech team and develop your skills with the latest in BI tooling.
An ideal candidate would be someone interested in working at a senior level or stepping into one and has experience of working with Power BI in a large scale environment.
Responsibilities and day to day:
- Use Power BI to create interactive reports, dashboards, and visualizations
- Create and maintain ETL pipelines to extract data from various sources, transform it, and load it into our data models.
- Optimise data loading processes for performance and reliability.
- Utilise our in-house Power BI Embedded application to share reports and dashboards with the business.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and translate them into effective BI solutions.
Skills required:
- Experience with Power BI and modern BI tooling
- ETL pipeline experience
- Reporting and data modelling
- Ability to work with senior stakeholders
