We are excited to announce that Sheridan Maine is partnering with a Bath-based company to recruit an Assistant Payroll Manager for a 6-month fixed-term contract. This is a unique opportunity for a seasoned payroll professional to become part of a skilled team managing international payrolls.
In this role, you will join the team dedicated to ensuring accurate and timely payroll for over 3000 employees.
Your responsibilities as the Assistant Payroll Manager will include:
- Assisting the Payroll Manager with payroll across four international payrolls
- Collaborating with the People Team on benefit contributions, including UK pension schemes, private healthcare, and share schemes
- Acting as the main contact for our managed service payroll provider
- Creating and maintaining monthly reports for stakeholders and the Executive Leadership Team
- Managing the time and attendance system, including onboarding and training
- Responding to colleague inquiries across four regions
The successful Assistant Payroll Manager will require the following skills and experience:
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in payroll administration
- IT proficiency is essential
- CIPP qualifications preferred
- Extensive knowledge of UK payroll processes
- Excellent customer service skills
- International payroll experience is desirable
- Experience with Dayforce HRIS is preferred
