NEW OPPORTUNITY: Electrical Supervisor
Location: South Devon (On-site)
Salary: £45,000 DOE
I am currently working exclusively with one of Europe's quickest growing renewable energy companies who both develop and construct large scale photovoltaic plants. They currently have 2.4GW in operation across the globe.
Due to the impressive speed at which they are rolling out multi-megawatt projects, they are seeking an Electrical Supervisor to take on site responsibility for their latest solar plant in the UK. This key role will lead and support electrical engineering activities on construction sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical leadership on electrical engineering matter and take ownership of cable calculations, cable schedules and trench profiles.
- Collaborate with HQ to review and optimize electrical drawings.
- Conduct site surveys and roll out thorough quality checks.
- Oversee subcontractors, ensuring compliance with design, safety regulations, and quality standards.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and provide expert guidance.
Skills:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 1+ year of experience working on a utility scale solar project.
- Knowledge of UK electrical regulations.
