Paralegal - Client Services (FTC)

Posted by PGMBM Law Ltd, t/a pogust goodhead.

Pogust Goodhead is a unique partnership between British and American lawyers, with particular expertise in group litigation. The firm is currently managing some of the largest claims in English legal history including claims arising from the collapse of the Fundão Dam, which is the largest environmental disaster in Brazil's history. The firm is also at the cutting-edge of group consumer claims, representing hundreds of thousands of affected clients throughout Europe and across the globe. You may have seen our MyDieselClaim.com television adverts which have led to over 1.3m+ people wishing to bring claims against car manufacturers regarding their alleged NOx emissions cheating.

Why is this role crucial for Pogust Goodhead?

Pogust Goodhead are undertaking a 6-month project focused on client service across our NOx emissions litigations. This is an excellent opportunity to start your Paralegal career in an entry-level position. Under this project, we seek to ensure that as many clients as possible have the opportunity to join our cases. You'll be part of a team of Client Service Agents and the first point of contact with potential new clients. It's therefore important that you are comfortable working on the telephone and strive to provide an excellent customer service experience. You'll be welcoming new clients to the Firm and assisting with new client due diligence processes.

If the project is successful, we may consider extending it, and therefore we would look to offer full-time positions. As this role is continually tracked against performance, we are able to offer bonuses to staff who perform well.

The day-to-day would focus on calling and emailing clients in order to provide them with help, answer queries, obtain further information and populate their files in our Case Management System. As this role will involve speaking to hundreds of clients, excellent communication and organisational skills are essential attributes of this role. This role also requires a highly motivated character who is keen to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment. Law degrees or experience in legal environments is beneficial but not essential, and we are open to a wide range of experience and backgrounds.
