**JOB PURPOSE

Your role will be to drive revenue and EBIT by ensuring we maximise our pricing potential globally, whilst maintaining consistency and adhering to our overall pricing and brand strategies & principles. You will be the primary pricing contact for the product divisions, and will be responsible for:

  • Identifying pricing opportunities through analysis of pricing architecture, performance trends and competitor pricing intelligence.
  • Monitoring changing global macro-economic factors and making appropriate and reasoned price adjustment recommendations to maintain global pricing consistency and protect group margins
  • Seasonal pricing set up to ensure that global retail and wholesale prices are appropriately derived each season
  • Managing markdown price calculation and execution
  • Acting as liaison between business and BI pricing team
  • Support Pricing Assistant in day-to-day activities

**RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the seasonal review of country pricing factors, making appropriate price adjustment recommendations as needed
  • Assist the Pricing Manager in working with the product finance team to provide seasonal pricing guidance and global pricing architecture relationships to be incorporated into seasonal and financial plans
  • Create and analyse sales and offer by price range analysis to ensure an appropriate product assortment by price range is maintained
  • Monitor and analyse competitor pricing in order to identify pricing opportunity for the business
  • Oversee the seasonal price bands (core currency pricing relationships) process with merchants and implementation in Flex PLM
  • Oversee the creation of seasonal retail and wholesale factor files for SAP
  • Support the build and maintenance of seasonal pricing files (e.g., price indices, price increases, etc.)
  • Supervise creation of markdown prices and associated price calculation templates
  • Support markdown execution by working with key stakeholders to ensure markdown prices are accurate and loaded in a timely fashion
  • Manage quarterly price change requests and approvals, working with the product teams and BI Pricing data team to facilitate a smooth implementation
  • Partner with Marketing and BI pricing to deliver accurate price information on product gifting catalogues
  • Liaise with BI pricing team on ad-hoc pricing queries, seasonal realignments, emergency price adjustments and any other price execution requests

**PERSONAL PROFILE

  • Strong analytical and highly numerate individual with good verbal & written communication, facilitation, organization, and leadership skills
  • Strong commercial awareness of a retail business
  • Good understanding of micro and macro-economic factors that impact on global pricing
  • Good understanding of the factors affecting product margin
  • Must meet deadlines by mitigating risks, manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritising as appropriate
  • Highly motivated, flexible, and conscientious with the ability to work in a constantly changing environment
