The Role

As a Sustainability Manager at Dalkia Engineering Ltd, you'll be part of our Sustainability Function, contributing to our mission to become the UK's leading technical solutions provider.

You will work across various areas of the business, providing sustainability and net-zero support, training and advice. You'll manage internal and external stakeholder relationships, including bid teams, commercial teams, operational teams, clients, consultant partners, supply chain, and manufacturers. You will ensure compliance with corporate governance, uphold the company's values, and be responsible for your time management to support the team effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Measure and quantify our scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions, including development of our methodology and accuracy of reporting.
  • Support projects with BREEAM, LEED, NABERS, WELL and NZC deliverables and project commitments.
  • Develop, support and deliver Dalkia educational training including CPD training to projects and functions.
  • Support business development and work winning to create sustainability and net zero collateral including input into tender returns relating to sustainability and net zero collateral.
  • Support innovation and R&D relating to sustainability and net zero.

As part of this commitment, we are building a ‘New Nuclear' capability to enable direct deployment on New Build Nuclear projects around the country as a key trusted supply chain partner, undertaking a variety of mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and other complimentary trade installations as a ‘Tier 1' provider.

A senior team is required to develop and lead on all aspects critical to a Nuclear Safety driven delivery organisation, establishing complimentary systems, processes and procedures with which we will demonstrate and execute compliant safe delivery of Nuclear context works.

The Person

  • Relevant qualifications in sustainability and environment such Environmental Science/Sustainability, Environmental Engineering or a relevant HND or HNC or an equal level of qualification.
  • GradCIBSE or working towards MCIBSE or MIEMA or MICRS.
  • Development from a Trainee Sustainability Manager or 3+ years' experience in similar roles.
