The Opportunity/role
- Day to Day management of National Accounts.
- You will be responsible for continuous development of the account strategy and overall commercial performance.
- You will be responsible for developing senior level relationships.
- Liaising and negotiating with buyers to agree on supply contracts and sales forecasting.
- Setting terms of trade for each account.
- Conducting negotiations on promotions, prices and product quantities.
- Negotiating any special requirements for distribution.
- Keeping up to date and reporting on market intelligence, for own accounts and competitors.
- To develop relationships with other stakeholders in the buying process.
The Candidate
I am looking for a driven, hard working individual who is extremely organised and analytical as well as being fantastic at building relationships/partnerships with customers. Strong Excel knowledge is also must!
Experience managing large national retailers is essential (Ideally grocery), however toy industry experience is not essential. I am happy to consider applications from candidates with different consumer industry backgrounds for this role. Industries that might work particularly well are Gifting/nursery/homewares/electrical or entertainment.
