VisionFR is seeking a Finance Manager on behalf of a digital product agency to join the team on a FTC. The Finance Manager will cover reporting, forecasting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, general accounting, and other ad hoc duties. In this varied role, you will have exposure to multiple areas of the business and will be an integral member of the Finance Team and report to the Financial Controller.
This is an exciting opportunity; it is a full-time 12 month FTC role working remotely.
Finance Manager responsibilities will include:
Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable
- Final sign off on the monthly payment runs.
- Setup of payments in the bank.
- Reviewing the Accounts Payable Process including embedding a new setup process.
- Holiday Cover on accounts payable.
- Final review of the Sales invoices.
- Reviewing the Accounts Receivable Process including embedding a new setup process.
General Accounting
- Reviewing the journals.
- Reviewing and sign off all balancing sheet reconciliations
- Preparing the Portugal Cash Flow
- Reviewing the Consolidated Cash flow.
- Sign off the VAT return.
- Be the point of contact for tax and external audit.
Payroll
- Overseeing UK Payroll.
- Reviewing the Portugal Payroll.
- Updating and producing the Payroll Forecast.
- Be the point of contact for the audit for payroll.
Administrative/Reporting
- Setting up new projects and customers (as a cover)
- Ad Hoc duties
- In charge of the Portugal and Consolidated Month End
- Working with the Management Account on company reporting.
- Producing client reporting for the client team.
- Signing off the Consolidated Month End and Finalising the Board Pack.
- Working with the Management Accountant to produce the Budget and Forecast.
Skills and experience of the Finance Manager
- Previous experience in a similar Finance role
- Finalist or fully qualified in a recognised accountancy qualification
- Strong excel skills.
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Be able to work to deadlines and meet targets.
- Good organisational skills with an attention to detail
- Be a team player with the ability to work independently on tasks.
