Job Title: Installation and Maintenance Engineer
Location: Worthing, UK
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair fire alarms, CCTV systems, access control systems, and intruder alarms.
- Conduct regular maintenance checks and servicing of installed systems to ensure optimal performance and compliance with relevant standards.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot system faults, providing effective solutions in a timely manner.
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing client concerns and explaining system functionalities clearly and professionally.
- Keep up-to-date with industry standards, technology advancements, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including service reports and installation documentation.
- Collaborate with the team to improve installation practices and overall service delivery.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in installing and maintaining fire and security systems.
- Strong technical skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve system faults.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Relevant qualifications in fire and security systems (e.g., FIA, BAFE, or equivalent certifications) are desirable.
- Valid driver's license.
