A diverse regional contracting business with a stable project portfolio and a proven track record in delivering expert construction solutions across many sectors including Retail and Design & Build, is seeking an experience Site Manager for a short term contract role in Ipswich.
Working on a new project, a steel framed unit, you'll be overseeing basic groundworks, the steel frame and external envelope to ensure works are completed and ready for specialist fit-out contractors to take over.
You should have a solid grasp of Health and safety and sound knowledge of the enabling and initial stages of a construction scheme, and the logistics and co-ordination required. In addition to having previous knowledge, you should also have valid site tickets (SMSTS, CSCS & First aid at work).
Given it's a straightforward scheme, we are seeking a candidate happy to be visible on site and, if needed, work with a hands on approach.
