Zenith People are currently working with a global engineering business operating in the Oil, Gas and Renewables sector is looking for Procurement Sourcing Lead.
The individual will be responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies to ensure the efficient procurement of materials. This role involves managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and driving cost-saving initiatives while maintaining high-quality standards.

Salary £45,000 to £55,000
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and implement effective sourcing strategies to meet the company's procurement needs.
- Develop supplier relationships
- Identify, evaluate, and manage relationships with suppliers to ensure reliability and quality.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure the best terms and conditions for the company.
- Drive cost-saving initiatives and optimize procurement processes to achieve financial targets.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with the supply chain.
Person Specification
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent would be desirable
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sourcing or procurement, with at least 2 years
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills. Proficiency in procurement software and tools.
- Certifications: Professional certifications such as CPSM, CIPS, or equivalent are preferred
