Job Title: Physiotherapist - Paediatrics

Grade: Band 6

Location: Watford General Hospital, Vicarage road, Watford WD18 0HU

Ward/Dept: Inpatient Therapy Department

Hours: Full time - Up to 37.5 hours per week

Shift Pattern: Mon - Fri, 8am-4pm

Pay Rates - Day: £19.01

West Hertfordshire Hospitals NHS Trust are looking for a Band 6 Paediatric Physiotherapist to join the amazing therapy team at Watford General Hospital. You will ideally have experience of working with Paediatric patients and would be involved in working with the multi-disciplinary team in providing physiotherapy to inpatients as well as in outpatient clinics.

Responsibilities of this job role

  • You will have a varied caseload. The Trust have a large Cystic Fibrosis population who are seen regularly as part of planned admissions and in regular outpatient clinics. The paediatric team also cover complex respiratory patients, surgical patients, orthopaedics, general medical, neurology as well as cover for the SCBU unit and Bayley clinics.
  • The team have good links with our local Community Therapy service, Great Ormond Street Hospital and the Brompton specifically regarding the Cystic Fibrosis (CF) caseload. There are regular joint/ shared care clinics with the Brompton CF Team.

To be successful in applying for this role you will need:

HCPC registered.

Degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent.

In addition to experience, all Qualified roles will be required to provide evidence of

  • Registration with the relevant Registration Body if applicable.
