£140,000 + 90% EQUITY

An exciting Fintech company is currently hiring for a Head of Fraud Analytics. This role will work closely with the senior stakeholders in the business and drive huge value for the business.

This role is an excellent opportunity to move into a fast-paced environment and take on real responsibility for business decisions and have the innovative space to have impact and drive change.

THE COMPANY

This profitable Fintech scale-up company are utilising AI technology to provide extremely innovative products to US consumers to help them avoid their overdraft and build credit. They are also growing to expand within the UK. They provide a huge amount of flexibility to work remotely and great equity to allow this individual to do well with this business.

THE ROLE

You can expect to be involved in the following day to day:

  • Collaborate with the payments and fraud team as the visionary leader, guiding the fraud management strategy
  • Vigilantly monitor for signs of fraud, especially in new areas, by analysing user behaviour for warning signs
  • Work closely with the analytics team to create detailed SQL reports, identifying fraudulent patterns in transactions
  • Continuously improve risk control measures to achieve the ideal balance between efficiency and effectiveness
  • Lead efforts to keep fraud rates low, constantly seeking ways to enhance security measures
  • Assess and upgrade tools, advocating for the adoption of new technologies or services that can improve capabilities
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to develop features that enhance user experience, improve security, and minimise inconveniences
  • Work closely with Compliance Officers to ensure all AML and compliance requirements are met successfully

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • SQL experience
  • FinTech experience ideal
  • Experience working within Fraud Analytics
  • Numerical degree from a top University
