Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Account Manager to join our team. The Account Manager will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with key clients in the plant hire industry. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication skills and a deep understanding of the construction and machinery rental market.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Client Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.

  • Identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell additional services or equipment to clients.

  • Conduct regular client meetings and site visits to ensure customer satisfaction and address any issues proactively.

  1. Business Development:
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the plant hire industry, including targeting potential clients and developing strategies to win new accounts.

  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to create targeted campaigns and promotional activities to attract new clients.

  • Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to inform business development strategies.

  1. Contract Management:
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients, ensuring terms and conditions are favorable for both parties.

  • Monitor contract performance, manage renewals, and address any contract-related issues in a timely manner.

  1. Reporting and Analysis:
  • Prepare regular reports on sales performance, client feedback, and market trends for management review.

  • Analyze sales data to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to achieve sales targets.

  1. Customer Service Excellence:
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, responding promptly to inquiries, resolving issues, and providing exceptional customer service at all times.

  • Collaborate with internal teams such as operations and logistics to ensure smooth delivery of services to clients.
