Job Title: Ecologist
Salary: £27,000 - £32,000
Location: Essex
We are looking for an Ecologist near Essex who would like to join a specialist Ecological and Arboricultural Consultancy. The Ecologist position offers CPD and professional training schemes, loads of opportunities for progression and hybrid working.
As an Ecologist, your duties will include:
- Ecological input to a varied range of projects across different sectors
- Leading, planning and coordinating field surveys, analysing and interpreting survey results
- Undertaking reporting of Preliminary Ecological Assessments and Ecological Impact Assessments
- field surveys, including protected species surveys, alongside day-to-day office-based work such as project management, report writing and client liaison
To be considered for the Ecologist position you must:
- Have a degree related to ecology
- Access to your own car and hold a full driving licence
- Proven experience as an Ecologist, ideally in a project environment
