An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Accountant to join a fast-growing business providing services to high profile Venture Capital and Private Equity clients. This part-time role, equivalent to two days per week with potential for growth, offers the chance to work in a hybrid environment from the heart of London. This position is perfect for an experienced finance professional looking for flexibility and challenge.

What you'll do:

As a Senior Accountant, your role will be pivotal in shaping the financial landscape of our client's rapidly expanding business. You'll work closely with the Head of Finance, preparing comprehensive monthly management accounts and insightful financial performance analyses. Your expertise will be crucial in overseeing the annual Financial Statements and audit process, as well as preparing regulatory submissions. You'll also manage the invoice process, assist with payroll and forecasting, all while building scalable processes that can accommodate growth.

  • Work with Head of Finance to produce internal management reporting.
  • Establish strong working relationships with internal & external stakeholders.
  • Build scalable processes as the first Finance team member in the UK.
  • Prepare monthly management accounts and financial performance analysis.
  • Oversee annual Financial Statements and audit process.
  • Prepare regulatory submissions and VAT information.
  • Manage invoice process and process payments.
  • Assist Head of Finance with payroll and forecasting.

  • Proficiency in using NetSuite.
  • Experience in a finance role.
  • Experience preparing month end MI within tight timeframes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook.
  • Commitment to delivery of high-quality reporting.
  • Ability to perform self-review to a high standard.
  • Organised with a high attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong time management skills and ability to manage multiple, tight deadlines.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work both autonomously and as a team player.
