Are you a CNC operator looking to work for a major international manufacturer based in Hastings who will offer job security, training and progression, the opportunity to work on some of the most cutting edge CNC machinery in the world, potential promotion and even the opportunity to transfer internally within the company to many different sites around the world?
Do you want to benefit from extensive training on a range of 3, 4, and 5 axis CNC machine tools, working on an exciting shop floor manufacturing products for the Aerospace, Defence and Marine sector within a fast growing CNC team with potential future promotion to Team Leader, Team Manager and potentially Head of Department?
The company are a leading manufacturer of electronic components, parts etc for Aerospace, Defence and Maritime with a major site in Hastings. Hours are 39 per week with the following alternating shift pattern...First week : Mon-Thurs: 6am-2pm, Fri: 6am-1pm, Second Week 2 : Mon-Thurs: 2pm-10pm, Fri 1pm-8pm Shift Patterns available include: Swing Shift or Night Shifts.
THE ROLE:
- CNC Machining (Turning and Milling)
- Prepare detailed numerical control programs for use in production on numerical controlled machinery;
- Run the EDM, including programming, setup and operation.
- Programming, setting and operating 3, 4 and 5 axis CNC machine tools
- Interpret engineering drawings
- Using a range of measurement equipment.
- Using Fanuc and Mazatrol machine tools.
THE PERSON:
- Experience operating or programming ANY CNC machine
- The ability to commute to Hastings daily
