**The Role

As a Mobile Service Engineer, you'll be the face of TerbergDTS in the field, delivering outstanding service and repair support to our clients. You'll perform routine servicing, technical inspections, and repairs on distribution tractors, sea port equipment, and aviation ground support equipment (GSE). Working largely independently, you'll manage your workload while adhering to the highest standards of safety and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine servicing, inspections, and repairs on a wide range of specialist vehicles and equipment.
  • Diagnose and repair faults using advanced diagnostic techniques and equipment.
  • Prepare thorough inspection reports for accident-damaged machines.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards at all times.
  • Maintain vehicle parts stock and keep all company equipment in excellent condition.
  • Collaborate with other departments and assist with new projects.
  • Be available for out-of-hours call-outs and work away from home as required.

**What We're Looking For

  • City & Guilds Level 3 in Vehicle Mechanical and Electronic Systems (or equivalent).
  • Proven experience in auto-electrician fault diagnosis and repair, especially with heavy goods or specialist vehicles.
  • Knowledge of Terberg Tugs and latest diagnostic systems is a plus.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication abilities and a professional, customer-focused attitude.
  • A flexible, can-do approach with the ability to work under pressure.
  • A valid UK driving licence.
