Reed Accountancy are currently partnered with an established client in the local area who are seeking a Finance Assistant to join their Finance Department. This role is ideal for someone with a keen interest in accounts and who may be studying towards an AAT qualification. The successful candidate will be a key part of the team, ensuring the smooth operation of financial processes.
Day-to-day duties of the Finance Assistant:
- Processing incoming payments.
- Taking payments from customers over the telephone.
- Processing and administering monthly payments.
- Data entry and maintenance of financial records.
- Scanning and filing accounts documents.
- Assisting in the accounts department with various tasks as needed.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work.
- Excellent IT and communication skills.
- Good team player, organised and responsible.
- An interest in accounts and pursuing or willing to pursue an AAT qualification is desirable.
