Horizon Teachers are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a SEN school located in Croydon. This full-time position starting October 2024 will initially be on supply through Horizon Teachers, with the opportunity to become a permanent staff member.
The school is a co-educational special school specialising in autism and complex needs and addresses the social communication, cognitive, sensory and social, emotional, and behavioural needs of pupils aged 2 - 19.
Criteria for this role
- Display a genuine desire to join a committed team of SEND staff.
- Possess a passion for supporting children with mild learning difficulties.
- Have prior experience working with children with special educational needs.
- Demonstrate commitment and professionalism in your work.
- Exhibit strong organisational skills, enthusiasm, and a proactive attitude
