We are recruiting a driven and motivated Facilities Manager to join a well-established company based in the Leicester area. This role will oversee all aspects of health and safety, including conducting safety inspections, liaising with contractors and ensuring that records are kept up to date.
Key Responsibilities of the Facilities Manager role:
- Ensure that all building facilities meet the highest safety and hygiene standards, protecting the well-being of all occupants.
- Oversee the maintenance of equipment and provisions, ensuring they align with health and safety regulations.
- Organise and plan installations and refurbishments, ensuring seamless execution and minimal disruption.
- Lead and coordinate the facilities team while managing relationships with external contractors and vendors, including contractor management.
- Handle all facilities-related insurance needs, ensuring comprehensive coverage and compliance.
Requirements of the ideal Facilities Manager:
- Previous experience in a similar role, it would be an advantage if you have a certificate in Facility Manager or equivalent
- Knowledge of HVAC and other building systems
- Proven ability to manage time effectively and juggle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Experience in planning and maintaining facility budgets efficiently.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with team members, contractors, and stakeholders.
