Role: Network Security Capability Architect - WAF
Duration: 6 Month Contract
Day Rate: Up to £750 per day (Inside)
Location: London / Sheffield - 1 day per week on-site
Summary
My client are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Network Security Capability Owner / Architect (WAF) to join their team on a 6 month contract basis. The role has opened up as the client require a top tier engineer to be involved in gap analysis and to undertake detailed reviews of their existing WAF suite.
You will be integral in understanding current company project restraints across multiple WAF workstreams and assist them with the delivery of the project.
The role is being offered as hybrid working with one day per week in either their London or Sheffield office.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Skills:
- WAF Security within the financial sector
- Application WAF Internal and External
- Tools Knowledge i.e F5 WAF, Imperva, Radware, Akamai
- Cloud WAF i.e Cloudflare
- Pen testing
- WAF Tuning
- Experience creating HLDS / LLD
Soft Skills:
- Excellent problem-solving and engineering skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Team Management Experience
- Ability to work closely with high-profile stakeholders
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.
