Reed are working with a well-known provider of supported accommodation for young people in England and Wales. They have an amazing opportunity for a dedicated and experienced Registered Service Manager for their Central Cambridge site, as well as working collaboratively with the Area Accommodation Manager to oversee the regulated services across Cambridge and Peterborough.

Registered Service Manager

  • Annual Salary: £37,627.20
  • Location: Central Cambridge
  • Job Type: Full-time

Day to Day of the role:

  • Act as the lead contact for OFSTED and oversee compliance with OFSTED quality standards.
  • Lead and develop a staff team to deliver high-quality, trauma-informed housing support services to young people.
  • Ensure compliance with organisational policies and procedures within the service.
  • Build internal and external partnerships to create innovative and forward-thinking services.
  • Collaborate with other managers to develop a long-term vision for the service.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • A good understanding of the OFSTED Supported Accommodation Standards and how these would be evidenced.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in one of the following areas: Hostel Work, Residential Work, Housing Management, or Working within the caring profession.
  • Able to evidence qualification at level 5 or higher, with a commitment to obtaining formal qualifications in line with the role's development.
  • An understanding of the importance of confidentiality and the ability to work with these constraints.
