Description
Process Analysis and Improvement:
- Conduct detailed analysis of current logistics processes and systems to identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement optimised logistics processes to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs.
- Utilise lean principles and Six Sigma methodologies to streamline processes and eliminate waste.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to incorporate into logistics strategies.
Project Management:
- Lead and manage logistics process improvement projects from conception through to implementation.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Collect and analyse data to evaluate the performance of logistics operations.
- Develop metrics and KPIs to monitor and report on the effectiveness of logistics processes.
- Present findings and recommendations to senior management.
Technology Integration:
- Evaluate and implement new logistics technologies and software to improve process efficiency.
- Work closely with IT and other departments to integrate new systems and ensure seamless operation.
Compliance and Safety:
- Ensure all logistics processes comply with industry regulations and company policies.
- Promote a culture of safety and ensure all team members adhere to safety protocols.
