Role: Site and Bench Carpentry Trainer

Temp rate: £200 - £250 per day
Perm rate: £31,000 - £43,000
Eden Brown are currently looking to recruit an enthusiastic Trainer and Assessor in Carpentry and Joinery on behalf of a leading Further Education College in South West London.
This is a full time, temporary or permanent role starting ASAP
Working as part of the Carpentry and Joinery team you will be responsible for a case load of learners from level 1 to 3.
The successful candidate will liaise with learners to plan and undertake assessments in the workplace, delivering high quality training and support and monitor them throughout all aspects of their apprenticeship/learner journey to ensure timely completion.
You will also maintain accurate learner records and establish good relationships with employers.
To be considered for the role you will have:
- A minimum Level 3 qualification in Carpentry and Joinery
- Experience Assessing Carpentry and Joinery to level 3 in both the college and on site in the work place
- A recognised Assessors Award
- A teaching Qualification and Verifier award are desirable but not essential
A current DBS is also needed for this role. If you do not have a current DBS Check Eden Brown can apply for one on your behalf.
