Join a leading UK Aerospace supplier based in Burnley

We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Engineer to join our Client's growing Engineering team. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in driving quality excellence across all aspects of our business. By ensuring customer satisfaction, supplier performance, and adherence to industry standards (NADCAP, AS9100, ISO 9001), you will contribute significantly to our company's success.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain robust quality management systems and processes.

Conduct thorough internal and supplier audits to assess quality performance.

Investigate and resolve quality issues through effective root cause analysis (RCCA) and corrective action implementation.

Lead continuous improvement initiatives utilizing tools such as 8D, PFMEA, and PPAP.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance product quality and process efficiency.

Ensure strict compliance with industry regulations and customer specifications.

Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience in a Quality Assurance role within the aerospace industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., AS9100, ISO 9001).
  • Proficiency in quality tools and methodologies (RCCA, 8D, PFMEA, PPAP).
  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and unwavering commitment to quality.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Engineering qualification.
  • Internal audit qualifications.
