Reed Finance are exclusively partnering with a global leader, providing innovative solutions in their industry, who are seeking a Finance Manager to join their UK operation, based in Basildon.
This is all-encompassing role and the new Finance Manager would be responsible for the complete finance function, including transactional, management and statutory accounting, working closely with the UK Managing Director to drive efficiency and growth across the business.
A few key responsibilities:
- Monthly management reporting
- AR/AP management, balance sheet reconciliations, pre-payments and accruals
- Preparation of year end accounts and be the main point of contact for audit
- Preparation and filing of VAT returns
- Work closely with the Head Office accounts function
- Pension administration
- Updating and producing new staff contracts. Liaise with our HR advisors to ensure we are compliant with employment legislation
A few key requirements:
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or QBE
- Experience of managing the end-to-end finance function within an SME business
- Experience working within an international business would be advantageous but not essential
- Advanced Excel knowledge
