Salary: £27,000 - £36,575 Dependent on experience & discretionary bonus scheme

About the Role...

We have an exciting opportunity available for an Accounts Receivable Team Leader to join our Transaction Shared Service centre at our Waterside Head Office in Blackburn!

In this role you will be responsible for the end to end Order to Cash process for the UK business, and help provide essential support to the finance department on our business' journey of continuous improvement and growth. You will also utilise your skills in leadership as you will have a team of AR Specialists to manage and develop as well as ensure they complete all processes to timelines.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Managing, training & development of a team of AR Specialists
  • Oversee & distribute workload to meet SLAs and KPIs
  • Monitor end-to-end processes, investigate and resolve any issues
  • Management of daily, weekly and monthly reporting for areas of responsibility
  • Monthly reconciliations of sales, cash, card and other GLs (as relevant to role)
  • Identify ways to improve processes
  • Escalation and resolution of issues in a timely and appropriate manner
  • Provide support to customers
  • Communicate and liaise with customers to resolve any escalated queries
  • Collaborate with internal teams
  • Liaise with the broader finance team and AR Management to provide regular updated on daily/weekly and Monthly activities

Candidate Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years' experience within an accounts role
  • Ability to manage and develop a team
  • Highly organized and efficient
  • Excellent communicator
  • Experience of using ERP systems, SAP would be preferred
  • Strong excel and analytical skills
