Support Analyst - 2nd Line - £36K - Hybrid (Surrey)

An exciting opportunity for a 2nd Line Support Analyst to join a growing UK-based IT Service Provider. Support Analyst Role:

  • Configure, support & maintain hardware + software solutions for the business and its clients including Microsoft Windows (8,10 & 11) & Apple OS, Office & Microsoft365, Active Directory, Azure, physical servers, networking, SAN infrastructure, virtualised solutions, security, remote access, Disaster Recovery & backup.
  • Manage & maintain the business's proactive monitoring, ITSM and security tools, together with day-to-day management of client solutions such as Azure Backup and Site Recovery, VMware virtualised infrastructure and supporting SAN storage etc.
  • Deliver support responses and technical resolutions in a timely manner.
  • Assist in the development and updating of new technology standards / installation guides.
  • Managing and supervising more junior Engineers.

Essential Experience:

  • Server & SAN solutions (Dell/HPE)
  • Virtualisation (VMware/Hyper-V)
  • Microsoft Windows (8,10 & 11) & Apple OS
  • Microsoft Server (2012, 2016, 2019 & 2022)
  • Networking (Cisco/HPE/Dell)
  • Cloud experience is desirable, not essential
