Night Multi Drop Van Driver
Menzies Distribution has an excellent opportunity for a Night's Multi Drop Van Driver to join our team based in Eastbourne.
THE DETAILS:
- Job role: Night Multi Drop Van Driver
- Location: Unit 10/11, Brampton Trade Park, Brampton Road, Eastbourne, BN22 9BN
- Shift Pattern: Sunday, Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday (Tuesday / Wednesday off)
- Hours: 00:00am - 07:30am
- Salary: £12.12 per hour
DELIVERY DRIVER DUTIES:
- Delivering and Collecting Newspapers
- Delivering to Customers in time, in the correct order and ensuring every parcel is accounted for via track & trace
- Check the quality of packed orders
- Manually unload and upload for delivery
- Make sure the vehicle is loaded safely and within the legislation
- Ensure security of the vehicle and goods contained during transit
- Complete all documentation as per company procedure
- Keep the warehouse safe, clean and tidy
- Adhere to company procedures and policies
DELIVERY DRIVER REQUIREMENTS:
- Driving a 3.5t van and Multi Drop Delivery experience preferred
- Held a full and valid UK Drivers Licence
- No previous disqualifications for NI, DD or DR
- Familiarity with most of the streets and commercial addresses
- Physically fit to meet the demands of a multi-drop driving role
- Hardworking, positive and a flexible attitude to work
- Undergo background check and alcohol & drug test prior to start date
