Education Development Administrator

Your new company
A regulatory company with their main hub based in Manchester is recruiting an administrator to help support their team on a temporary basis. You will be providing administration support to a team that handles approvals within Education and Standards. You will work to handle complex queries regarding changes to curricula against the company's own standards.
Your new role

  • Managing the team's work queue, ensuring emails and queries are dealt with appropriately within the agreed SLA's
  • Supporting administration of meetings with external stakeholders. (Minute taking, scheduling, outlook diary management.)
  • Preparing agendas ahead of meetings and collating the meeting notes afterwards.
  • Managing approval requests, and supporting the process throughout by giving advice to internal and external stakeholders where required. Managing change requests and follow-up activities
  • Assist colleagues with administration tasks to ensure the team's workload is always handled efficiently.
  • Ensure you are contributing and supporting the organisation's sustainability aims and keeping up to date with the company's safeguarding policies

What you'll need to succeed
Successful candidates will be able to show previous experience in the key job duties alongside;

  • Background of working with educational policies, ideally from postgradate training, royal colleges and medical schools.
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience of adapting style to various stakeholders at different levels
  • Confidence to work with minimal supervision as well as a proactive nature to contribute to the team's overall success.
  • Ability to prioritise a busy workload, adapt to changing needs and have a flexible attitude to accommodate conflicting priorities to meet SLA's
  • Confidence in suggesting improvements to team processes
