We are seeking a dedicated Registered Manager with a passion for residential care for children and young people. This role is an excellent opportunity for an individual with a strong background in leadership and management within the sector, looking to make a significant impact on the lives of young individuals.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Oversee the operational management of the residential facility, ensuring the highest standards of care are maintained.
  • Lead and inspire a team to provide outstanding support and care for children and young people.
  • Ensure that the home complies with all regulatory requirements and standards.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures that reflect best practice.
  • Manage budgets and resources effectively, ensuring the financial viability of the home.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with children, staff, parents, and external agencies.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of staff and provide regular supervision and appraisals.
  • Drive continuous improvement within the home, promoting a culture of excellence.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Must hold a Level 5 Leadership and Management qualification.
  • Must hold a Level 3 qualification in Children and Young People's Workforce (CYPW).
  • At least 2 years of experience in a residential setting for children and young people.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Registered Manager post.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Excellent understanding of the regulatory framework governing residential care for children and young people.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality care and achieving positive outcomes.
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
