QUALITY INSPECTOR AND ASSEMBLER
The successful candidate will have worked in an engineering environment with hands-on experience in Inspection. Experience with Marine Turbocharger arena
Quality Inspector Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- Detailed inspection of all components upon entry using onsite precision measuring equipment including micrometres, verniers etc...
- Pre-process and final inspection checks of assembled components
- Assembling of components according to internal processes (will be taught within the role)
- Balancing of rotors
- Calibration logging of tooling and inspection
- Recording information for audit purposes
- Carrying out internal audits (this item is progressive and will be taught within the role)
- Traceability and process improvement management
The following skills are required
- Attention to detail.
- Strong problem-solving skills & Excellent communication skills
- Ability to read technical engineering drawings and specifications.
- Able to multitask and work under pressure to deliver to deadlines.
- Able to generate inspection reports and articulate issues to management team.
