Adaptable Recruitment are working with a growing business in Chester who are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join their team on a permanent basis
Package:
- Salary £26,000 - £30,000

Job Duties:
- Process purchase invoices, ensure timely payments, and handle supplier queries. Process weekly payment runs and maintain accurate records.
- Raise and issue sales invoices, track outstanding payments, and assist with aged debtor reporting. Follow up with clients on overdue balances
- Perform bi-weekly bank reconciliations, investigating discrepancies.
- Assist with month-end closing tasks, including reporting and reconciliations.
- Admin/ad hoc duties as required
Who will I report into?
This role will report directly into the Finance Manager

Ideal experience?
- Knowledge/experience working within a similar role is essential
- AAT qualification or working towards is desirable
- Ambitious and self-motivated personality
- Excellent communication and time management skills
