SENIOR PAYROLL AND HR ADMINISTRATOR

This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Payroll and HR Administrator to join an innovative property developer on a permanent basis!

SENIOR PAYROLL AND HR ADMINISTRATOR ROLE:

  • Administering and preparing monthly payroll submissions for the organisation, accurately updating payroll bureau templates and submitting payroll files to ensure that all employees are paid accurately and by the agreed date
  • Working collaboratively to ensure seamless back-up support is provided during periods of absence and provide administrative support to wider department(s) where necessary
  • Liaising with the Office Manager, other EAs and wider business support team to ensure the smooth running and efficient support is delivered
  • Processing monthly/journal reports following successful submission of the payroll template, checking adjustments, and ensuring all work has been accurately recorded and self-reviewed prior to submission for the next level of internal review
  • Acting as the first point of contact for all employees with payroll queries, responding promptly and accurately
  • Accurately processing maternity leave, sickness, unpaid leave, etc., in accordance with Company Policy and the correct procedures
  • Maintaining up-to-date HR databases and records, and accurate employee records (both hard and soft copies), adhering to GDPR and our privacy policies
  • Scheduling and conducting exit interviews, and in the longer term, stay interviews
  • Undertaking HR projects and research as and when required
  • Assisting with performance management procedures, supporting active performance management with administrative tasks
  • Maintaining up-to-date job descriptions and JD templates for the company
  • Assisting with the recruitment process by identifying candidates and conducting screening calls as and when required

SENIOR PAYROLL AND HR ADMINISTRATOR ESSENTIALS:

  • Minimum 12 months UK payroll experience within a similar sized company – approx. 100 employees
  • Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
  • Excellent IT skills
